Emami Paper Mills Limited, which was started in the year 1981, today carries the leadership position in Indian newsprint industry with largest manufacturing capacity, fastest newsprint manufacturing machine and state-of-the-art technology.

The company has production capacity of 3.35 lakh tpa capacity diversified into 1.55 lakh tpa of newsprint and writing-printing paper and 1.80 lakh tpa of paperboard. It has three power plants aggregating capacity of 30.5 Mw to satisfy its entire steam and power requirement from captive source.

A state of the art packaging board plant started its operation at Balasore, Odisha since May 2015. The Packaging Board Unit with its latest technology is delivering the best quality Virgin Top Coated Grey Back – Eco Strong, Very High Bulk / Stiffnes Folding Box Board – Maxofold and very premium Coated Bleached Board – Glamkot. The capacity of Board Unit is 1,80,000 TPA and is one of the largest individual unit in the country running in full capacity. The Company is contemplating further expansion for doubling the capacity.
